Music Diggin' Friday

Music Diggin’ Friday: June 15th

Since we already have Music Monday courtesy to Drew at The Tattooed Book Geek, I hereby declare, that Music Diggin’ Friday is a thing from now on.

I don’t know about you, but I had an awesome week. Got some huge opportunities I can’t wait about. Can’t reveal much, let’s just say I’m going to share an interview here pretty soon. Until then, let’s see what’s up in the rock industry.

Albums released

Post Traumatic by Mike Shinoda

In the last 2 months or so there was hardly a week when Mike Shinoda haven’t released a new song from his first solo album, Post Traumatic. At first listen it sounds like a pop album with some rap added to it here and there. Not that remarkable in my opinion, though it’s a good way for him to get through the healing process after Chester’s death.

Co-op by Co-op

This week’s surprise band. I’ve no idea who they are, but I’m sure will check out their stuff. You should start with the following song, just as I did. Also, it’s nice to get an intro by Alice Cooper.

Coming in Hot by Diamante

The week’s surprise band #2. Seems like I’m getting the hang of the female leading bands. This one sounds pretty good. My setlist for the weekend is set with this (and the other awesome music featured in this cool post, hah).

New singles/videos

Fade in/Fade out by Nothing More

I’ve been gushing about Nothing More a lot since I’ve started this blog. I love the hell out of them, especially their last album. Fade in/Fade out is one of my absolute favorites from it, and I’m damn happy that they decided to make a single out of it. Fingers crossed that they’ll play this one in the upcoming concert here in Budapest.

Remember When by Bad Wolves

I’ve been hearing about this band lately. They released their album not so long ago, and made it into the news when Dolores, the lead singer of the Cranberries died on the day she was supposed to sing in Bad Wolves’s cover of Zombie. Anyway, it’s worth giving a chance to them and keep an eye on the guys in the future.

Start Again by OneRepublic feat. Logic

I’m not sure if this song was here up before or not. Anyway, they released a lyric video for the song Start Again. I dig this song, even though I’m not a OneRepublic fan, but they come out with a good song time to time so I don’t have any other chance but pay attention to them.

Rescue Me by Thirty Seconds To Mars

Thirty Seconds To Mars released a new song from their latest album America. If I want to be honest, the only song I remember from that album is Walk on Water, and I frigging love that one.

Have a rockin’ friday and weekend ya’ll! 🙂
