Music Diggin' Friday

Music Diggin’ Friday: August 31st

Since we already have Music Monday courtesy to Drew at The Tattooed Book Geek, I hereby declare, that Music Diggin’ Friday is a thing from now on.

Albums released

Grainsville by Steve ‘N’ Seagulls

Steve ‘N’ Seagulls is a totally crazy Finnish country band who play covers of rock and heavy metal songs in their own style. I’m usually not into covers and cover bands, but when last december a friend of mine showed one of their videos to try to convince me to go to their concert that night, I was sold on spot. They are funny and they made a good show. I also made friends with a big guy who almost stepped on me, apologized, introduced himself and his friend, then guarded me and made sure no one would step on me while I waited for my friend to get his beer. It was a fun night. Anyway, Steve ‘N’ Seagulls released yet another album which is available now.

Kamikaze by Eminem

It’s been a while since I’ve listened to Eminem and I don’t follow him much anymore, so it caught me by surprise today that he released yet another album, titled Kamikaze.

New singles/videos

A Million Stars by The Faim

One of my new favorite bands of this year. Their EP will be released next week, but until then they gave us a new song titled A Million Stars.

Connection by OneRepublic

I pretty much dig OneRepublic‘s songs lately. Their newest music video had come out this week for the song titled Connection.

I Am Human by Escape The Fate

Honestly, I don’t know much about Escape The Fate. I probably found them interesting at one point because I liked them on Facebook. This song is not bad, but I’m not blown away. Still, it’s nice to have something new up here.

Have a rockin’ friday and weekend y’all! 🙂
