Sneak Peek

What’s to come? – November 2019

November is going to be a quiet (I mean boring) work month. I’ve nothing exciting planned, but I definitely will try to pay more attention to my own needs – meaning I’ve been so focused recently on working, reading, deadlines, pressure that I hardly left room for myself to relax. To just loose myself for a few hours in a game or do some colouring. So, that’s my personal goal for the month, but no worries, I won’t let you guys without some great content this month too!

Book titles are linked to their Goodreads pages!

Book(s) I plan to read in November

Three Crows Magazine #5 by Alex Khlopenko

Book(s) we plan to review in November in addition to the others above (SPFBO titles not counting, we won’t spoil the fun ;))

I really, really need to get to these…

Audiobook(s) I plan to listen to in October

  • The Bone Ships by R.J. Barker (I actually started the audiobook, so progress!)
the bone ships 1

We had arrived to the most exciting part of Phase 1 – during November we will reveal our semi-finalists and finalist. We are done with slush piling and we are currently preparing to fight until first blood is drawn to decide which book will emerge victorious from the standing 9 books. I’m happy to say that we had some good entries this year, and I’m sad not all of them will make it. But such is the nature of the competition.

You can read about my team and how we are going to do SPFBO 5 here! Every information you might need, links, and other stuff here!

Tales from the Asylum

Based on the feedback, Tales from the Asylum was a success and I’m really happy people loved it! Rest assured, there are many more to come and they will be just as good as the others!

Other bookish plans

Author Spotlight

I’ll have a few stuff coming your way, such as an interview with a popular indie author, an excerpt from a short story anthology and a cover reveal. But might come up with something else too 😉

Well, I think that’s it. Follow me if you like either on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram (I don’t have much content on that platform yet)!
