Monthly Wrap Up August

Monthly Wrap Up: August 2020

August went away pretty quickly. I had a 2 weeks long vacation, 1 of which I spent in the countryside which was a nice break. I also read 3 books that week which is not something that happens to me a lot these days. But since we came home my sleeping went to shit and I’m still trying to catch up to myself and not feel like a train went through me… Anyway, vacation did not mean I was being lazy.

The Midnights by Sarah Nicole Smetana

The Midnights by Sarah Nicole Smetana

The Midnights is about music, family, friendship and finding one’s way in life after loss. That road is sometimes has more bumps than one would like, but everything depends on how we blunts the hits. California is the perfect setting for this book, though I wish it was more part of the story than a mere background blurred as we speed through the story. If one looks for a light, music filled summer read, then The Midnights might be a good choice for that.

Sneak Peek August

What’s to come? – August 2020

I have quite a few stuff coming this month – we’ll continue The Enchanted Forest, we’ll Party with the Stars, read books, tour with books, get ready for Self-Published Fantasy Month in September, reveal covers, give SPFBO updates and I’ll even have a two weeks vacation – one of which will be a real vacation with a trip and everything.

Sneak Peek May

What’s to come? – May 2020

May is here! And you know what does that mean? It’s Wyrd & Wonder month! We celebrate fantasy throughout May. It’s not too late to join in all the fun. You can find the introduction here. Be sure to check it out becuase these ladies planned a LOT of awesome stuff.

As usual, I have all kinds of things planned for this month as well, though not all of them fantasy related. But I’ll try my best. Who knows? I might even do some fun posts using their Wyrd & Wonder challenge prompts! Alright, let’s see what I have in mind.

Sneak Peek April

What’s to come? – April 2020

I think we’ll lean heavily on the reviewing side of things in April. That being said, I’m more sober regarding April, mostly because all of my plans got chucked into the bin.
