    Monthly Wrap Up

Since I've whined enough how much my personal life sucked in January, this time I'll take mercy on you all. Reading wise it was a productive month, but a very mixed one. And since I'm very behind on reviews, not everything will be featured in this post.

The Blighted City by Scott Kaelen

This book made it to the semi-finals in this year's SPFBO and with good reason. It had to be one of the more interesting takes on the undead that I have read in a while.

    Monthly Wrap Up

Wait. What happens with time? Someone speed it up! It can't be November already! Where is my October??? Give me a moment while I panic, will you? *panics* Okay, I'm better now. I'm a bit behind on posts because I had become sick after returning from the UK, so a review and my post about said UK trip will be up later this week, thus they will count as November posts. So, let's see what I had in store for you in October:

This year I'm taking part in SPFBO as an advisor for Fantasy Book Review's judging team. I decided to offer a spot to the authors in our group. The spotlight today shines on Scott Kaelen!

The Queen has captured you sneaking around in her home, but she is in a merciful mood. She has allowed you to go free on the condition that you brave the ancient ruins and find her missing cloak clasp. It is in the shape of her most beloved animal. She no longer likes to go there, because she is convinced that there are magical goings-on in the ruins that are not of this world.
