Today we sit down with Craig Lea Gordon to discuss his cyberpunk entry, ARvekt. The book blew all judges away with its fantastic cover and ended up climbing the ranks as one of our own semifinalists!
We continue our SPSFC interview series by welcoming Jim Nelson to the Asylum! I spoke with Jim about his entry, In My Memory Locked, a cyberpunk noir novel “perfect for fans of Blade Runner, Raymond Chandler, Ghost in the Shell, William Gibson, When Gravity Fails, and Altered Carbon.”
The Asylum had the great pleasure of talking with author P. L. Tavormina, a real-life scientist (how cool is that?!) whose book, Aerovoyant, joined the ranks of the first-ever Self-Published Science Fiction Contest (SPSFC).
It’s that time of the year again – although we are a tiny bit late – when we sit down and set goals for the year ahead of us. These past two years showed us that life is about as unpredictable as they come, and planning ahead requires some flexibility. We can only hope this year will be kinder to us all and we can achieve what we aim for. Only time will tell whether we make it or not, but we can definitely try!
