Monthly Wrap Up December

Monthly Wrap Up: December 2020

Can you believe it’s already December? This year went by so fast, even if sometimes it seemed like time was dragging. It’s traditionally time to look back at the year, but I’ll keep most of that for the annual anniversary post in March. Here I’m only going to say that I basically met non of my goals set for myself. But then, 2020 brought on challenges none of us saw coming. We’ve been taking things easy in December to give us some breathing room, so we only had a couple of reviews and tour encore posts.

The Immortal City by Amy Kuivalainen

The Immortal City by Amy Kuivalainen

The Immortal City is a fast-paced, decent Fantasy set in the beautiful Venice – of which we get not nearly enough by the way. It might be a perfect read for those who love Mystery books with star-crossed lovers and magic chasing thousands of years old myths. It has a lot going for it and Kuivalainen made Venice alive in this modern-day blood-soaked love story.

Sneak Peek December

What’s to come? – December 2020

I honestly don’t have much plans for December. I think I’ll just try to relax and take everything easy. We’ll be taking a break from blogging so apart from encore posts and a handful of reviews, we won’t have much to offer. I guess all those packed months finally caught up with me and I need to take a step back. Plus, the holidays are coming and I intend to enjoy it rather than worry about posts.

Sneak Peek

What’s to come? – September 2019

With September arriving the temperature dropped from 33 to 18 in a day – which I’m not complaining about, because fuck heat. Probably my brain will now will be able to process reading and stuff – once I finally get some normal rest, that is. As I’ve been lacking with a lot of things in August, September will be all about catching up and trying to squeeze in everything. I don’t have much to look forward to this month, so no distraction.
