Tales of Ioth by D.P. Woolliscroft
This review ended up to be quite long, so let me just wrap it up. I’ve been really impressed by the quality of the content in Tales of Ioth. Don’t get me wrong, Woolliscroft presented exactly what I expected of him and then some more. These stories not only give us a better picture of the characters we already know, but also we get to know Alfaria and the Alfjarun culture a bit more. If you like the Wildfire Cycle, then you definitely shouldn’t miss Tales of Ioth and all these brilliant adventures.

The Mage-Born Anthology by Kayleigh Nicol
I almost wished I could have read this anthology before Sorcerous Rivalry just because there was such a bittersweet feel to the whole book, with getting to see their hopes and dreams and knowing the turn their lives take.
All in all, this is nice addition to the series if you are looking to round out the sibling’s characters or just need an excuse to revisit the world.

Tales of Kingshold by D. P. Woolliscroft
Tales of Kingshold is a collection of novelettes, short stories, letters and notes about events that happened before, after and during the election in Kingshold. We meet old and new characters, some of them likely to appear in later books. In my review I will focus on the novelettes and short stories, but let me note that I foud Jyuth’s thoughts on magic pretty interesting and it was a good addition, explaining how the magic in this world works.

An anthology which is hard to put down and a must read for grimdark lovers. But be warned: it will leave you with a feeling of uncleannes and questions you don’t want to answer.
