What do we plan for 2022

It's that time of the year again - although we are a tiny bit late - when we sit down and set goals for the year ahead of us. These past two years showed us that life is about as unpredictable as they come, and planning ahead requires some flexibility. We can only hope this year will be kinder to us all and we can achieve what we aim for. Only time will tell whether we make it or not, but we can definitely try! And so, we are here to tell you what we plan for 2022 blogging, reading, and life-wise. Come and get excited with us and tell…

    Jen's Top 10 Reads of 2021

Like last year, we once again decided to post 3 separate top 10 reads of 2021 lists instead of one mega-list or one with only a couple of picks each. Which, let's face it, would be downright cruelty to ourselves. Our only rule was that any book on these lists has to be read during 2021, regardless of when they were published and by whom. And we had to love them, obviously. Maybe. I mean, when you keep shouting at the author in private for things they did, it's surely a sign of love, right? Even if you call said author names... *ahem* Anyway next up is Jen with her…

    Monthly Wrap Up February

February went away way too fast. I WANT MY BIRTHDAY MONTH BACK! *ahem* We've been busy with SPFBO reading and SoT and a lot of other things. Though, to be absolutely honest, I'm struggling with reading a lot these days, so it's probably about time for me to take a nice long break. But fear not, we still had quite a lot of content in February including reviews, author spotlight, book tours and a lot of other things.

Jen and I both reviewed A Fool's Hope, the excellent follow up to Mike Shackle's Epic Grimdark Fantasy novel, We Are the Dead, the second book in The Last War series.

    Sneak Peek February

February is my favorite month, even though I hate winter, but I was born in this cold, gray and well, weather-wise not really flattering of a month, so, you know... I'm kinda obliged to love it. We have a lot of content coming your way this month: reviews, features, SPFBO stuff, an interview, cover reveals, book tour encores. Check it all out!

    Timy's Top 10 Reads of 2020

After some debate, we decided that instead of doing one short (top 3 reads each which would have been downright cruelty to ourselves), or one very long (top 10 reads each, squeezed together) post on our favorite reads in 2020, we'll do three separate ones. Mainly because we'd like to highlight as many books as we can, regardless of when they were released, if they are indie, self-published, or traditionally published. The only criteria were that we had to read it in 2020. And maybe like it too. A tiny bit. Maybe. Next up is Timy's Top 10 Reads of 2020.

    Monthly Wrap Up November

November came and went and my second month living alone has passed. I spent November on different crafting projects and reading some truly awesome books. And giving the blog a bit of face lifting. What? I can't stop fiddling with it, go away. But of course, we had some other posts other than reviews as well - cover reveals, an interview, book tours.

After the craziness of October, I'm hoping November will be all about catching up, relaxing and getting ready for Christmas. Also, now that SPFBO 6 Phase 1 is officially over, I can take a break and whatever I want for a while. So. Many. Good. Books. To. Read.

    Monthly Wrap Up April

Is it just me, or April really went by fast? It definitely seemed shorter than March. Weird. I definitely had more good days this month, so that's a plus. I also worked on some secret stuff, which was fun. In an "OMG, what the hell am I doing?" way, lol. I also discovered The Unbelievable Truth series on Audible, and since I'm starting my days with audiobooks, I figured listening to something that makes me laugh would actually do some good for me. I'm only 2 days in, but so far it seems to be working. *shrug*

The Queen has captured you sneaking around in her home, but she is in a merciful mood. She has allowed you to go free on the condition that you brave the ancient ruins and find her missing cloak clasp. It is in the shape of her most beloved animal. She no longer likes to go there, because she is convinced that there are magical goings-on in the ruins that are not of this world.
