Jen’s Top 10 Reads of 2022
Keeping with traditions, we will post our separate top 10 reads of 2022 lists throughout January. Well, it might be top 5 in some cases, but all 4 of us had books we’d like to shout about and that’s what’s important. Second up is Jen’s favorite reads of 2022!
Spirits of Vengeance by Rob J. Hayes
Jen reviews Spirits of Vengeance, a stand-alone novel in Rob J. Hayes’ Mortal Techniques universe.
Jen’s Top 10 Reads of 2021
Like last year, we once again decided to post 3 separate top 10 reads of 2021 lists instead of one mega-list or one with only a couple of picks each. Which, let’s face it, would be downright cruelty to ourselves. Our only rule was that any book on these lists has to be read during 2021, regardless of when they were published and by whom. And we had to love them, obviously. Maybe. I mean, when you keep shouting at the author in private for things they did, it’s surely a sign of love, right? Even if you call said author names… *ahem* Anyway next up is Jen with her Top 10 Reads of 2021!

Monthly Wrap Up: February 2020
Is it just me or February really just lasted for a blink? I was so occupied with stuff, that halfway through the month I completely forgot that it was my birthday month and didn’t have as much fun as I would have liked. That’s not saying I didn’t have any fun ar that I didn’t have a great birthday month, because I did. But I was just too focused on the coming blog anniversary and other things I’m working on behind the scenes. Oops.Â
SPFBO: Never Die by Rob J. Hayes
Team RockStarlit BookAsylum reviews the SPFBO 5 finalist, Never Die by Rob J. Hayes. Thoughts and opinions are all our own.
10 Books Featuring Kids in Adult Fiction
As I’m reading Priest of Lies by Peter McLean currently, and one of my favorite characters happen to be Billy the Boy, a 14 year old lad, I started to think about books where children were not only side characters but had an important role. As I’m mostly reading adult fiction I went and looked at those books to pick 10 – which, let me tell you is a challenge.
Monthly Wrap Up: January 2019
Since I’ve whined enough how much my personal life sucked in January, this time I’ll take mercy on you all. Reading wise it was a productive month, but a very mixed one. And since I’m very behind on reviews, not everything will be featured in this post.
