Wait, wait, wait. How the fuck I never had a Breaking Benjamin song picked for Music Monday?? And I claim myself to be a Breaking Benjamin fan *sigh* I should give back my badge or something. This love story started around 2007-2008 maybe. I don’t quite remember how I found them honestly, but they pretty soon became a favourite. It’s been a huge dream of mine to see them live and in 2017 Lady Luck smiled at me when they finally visited Hungary for the first time. I had to sacrifice my soul and purchase a fucking expensive daily ticket to Sziget Festival, but at that point I would have spent any amount of money just for the opportunity. Luckily their show was held on a smaller stage, and since I arrived quite early, I could find a spot near the first line. Later the person who stood before me left (hey, there are idiots everywhere *shrug*) and so this is how I ended up about 2 metres from the stage and my idol. That was a damn fine concert too, though his voice couldn’t be heard as much as I would have liked. Anyway, that night is still one of my favourite memories.
I suspect one of the reasons I didn’t feature Breaking Benjamin yet is that it’s damn hard to pick only one song. In the end I went with Failure, because it goes with my recent mood.
