Music Monday: Rock n Roll Queen by Shaman’s Harvest

Music Monday is a meme that was created by Drew from The Tattooed Book Geek. Bjørn and I will pick a song alternatively on each Monday and share our thoughts about them. Timy’s pick this week is Rock n Roll Queen by Shaman’s Harvest.

I was debating which song to pick this week, as I have a few good contenders, Rock n Roll Queen by Shaman’s Harvest among them. But it’s been quite a long time (2018) since I had them featured, so why the hell not? I recently came across this new song and was instantly hooked. But I mean, I quite like their music, so that’s not much of a surprise. I was happy to find they have a new song tho! Their last album, Rebelator, came out in 2022, so it’s about time they put out a new album *fingers crossed*

So, my choice made, I went to find the link to the video, and WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THIS SONG HAD BEEN OUT FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW?! I’m offended. Especially as Rock n Roll Queen would have been the PERFECT prompt for Sound of Madness *sigh* There is always next year, I guess.

I’m mostly offended by Spotify for not putting it in front of my face, because I sure as hell would remember this one. Last week, I was testing my options to switch from Spotify, and one of my options was YouTube Music, which instantly brought this song up as a potential interest. Like. COME ON! Fucking hell, it sure was high time to ditch Spotify. I didn’t settle on YouTube music tho, but I’ll think of it fondly for this alone – it also gave me at least another song or two, so we absolutely parted on good terms.
