In the name of being organized, I have a couple of reading goals in 2023. Buckle up peeps, because this is going to be one long-ass post with a lot of books mentioned.
Timy’s Top 10 Reads of 2022
Keeping with traditions, we will post our separate top 10 reads of 2022 lists throughout January. Well, it might be top 5 in some cases, but all 4 of us had books we’d like to shout about and that’s what’s important. First up is Timy’s favorite reads of 2022!
Listen & Read – Connection
Throughout the year, I’ll dig deeper into the prompts of The Sound of Madness Reading Challenge 2022. I’ll talk about the music, the prompt and recommend about 5 books I think would go well with it. The prompt of the week: Connection.
What Do We Plan For 2022?
It’s that time of the year again – although we are a tiny bit late – when we sit down and set goals for the year ahead of us. These past two years showed us that life is about as unpredictable as they come, and planning ahead requires some flexibility. We can only hope this year will be kinder to us all and we can achieve what we aim for. Only time will tell whether we make it or not, but we can definitely try! And so, we are here to tell you what we plan for 2022 blogging, reading, and life-wise. Come and get excited with us and tell us what you are looking for the most this year!
Listen & Read – How You Remind Me
Throughout the year, I’ll dig deeper into the prompts of The Sound of Madness Reading Challenge 2022. I’ll talk about the music, the prompt and recommend about 5 books I think would go well with it. The prompt of the week: How You Remind Me.
Timy’s Top 10 Reads of 2021
Like last year, we once again decided to post 3 separate top 10 reads of 2021 lists instead of one mega-list or one with only a couple of picks each. Which, let’s face it, would be downright cruelty to ourselves. Our only rule was that any book on these lists has to be read during 2021, regardless of when they were published and by whom. And we had to love them, obviously. Maybe. I mean, when you keep shouting at the author in private for things they did, it’s surely a sign of love, right? Even if you call said author names… *ahem* Anyway. First to go is Timy with her Top 10 Reads of 2021!
Book Tag: 90s Music Edition
As they say, there is always a first time for everything. After nearly 4 years of blogging, it’s time for my first ever book tag post! As we all know I’m a music junkie and I’m also a 90s kid, so I just knew if I only ever did one book tag post, it has to be the 90s Music Edition one. With music videos for extra fun!
The Bone Ship’s Wake by RJ Barker
Timy reviews The Bone Ship’s Wake, the third book in RJ Barker’s Nautical Fantasy trilogy, The Tide Child. She previously reviewed The Bone Ships and Call of the Bone Ships. The Bone Ship’s Wake is to be published on August 30, 2021, by Orbit.
Timy’s Top 10 Reads of 2020
After some debate, we decided that instead of doing one short (top 3 reads each which would have been downright cruelty to ourselves), or one very long (top 10 reads each, squeezed together) post on our favorite reads in 2020, we’ll do three separate ones. Mainly because we’d like to highlight as many books as we can, regardless of when they were released, if they are indie, self-published, or traditionally published. The only criteria were that we had to read it in 2020. And maybe like it too. A tiny bit. Maybe. Next up is Timy’s Top 10 Reads of 2020.
Monthly Wrap Up: November 2020
November came and went and my second month living alone has passed. I spent November on different crafting projects and reading some truly awesome books. And giving the blog a bit of face lifting. What? I can’t stop fiddling with it, go away. But of course, we had some other posts other than reviews as well – cover reveals, an interview, book tours.
