Thoughts and other ramblings

I’ve been in love with this song for about 5 or 6 years now. It means a lot to me, it’s something like a personal anthem for me. I used this song in the title of my travel blog back in 2014 where I shared my thoughts and experiences about my 5 weeks stay in Santa Barbara, CA. I even have the first 2 lines engraved in a belt which has a guitar belt buckle I wear with my winter coat (I look pretty badass with it too, hah). Back in 2016 I had the pleasure to videochat with Fivefold, which was pretty awesome! These guys are really nice and friendly. Too bad they were never well known and that they decided to break Fivefold up at the end of last year 🙁 I never had the chance to see them perform and I’m quite sad about it too.

But the most recent reason I choose this song for today is that I’m considering to finally have my very first tattoo next week (it’s about time too, I’ve been wanting one for years, just never could make up my mind…). First I wanted simply The Story tattooed somewhere on my arm, but now I think I’m going to go with Handwritten Story (Handwritten is another song I love altough from another band, The Gaslight Anthem) And so, in honour of all that, I want to share this song with you, because everyone should know about these guys!
