It’s time for my favorite post of the year! My Life in Books is back for the third year, and Liis (Cover to Cover) and I tweaked the prompts a little bit once again (look, I can’t help myself, okay?).
We don’t quite know who created this tag so I don’t know who to credit, but whoever it was, thank you (and sorry we keep messing with it, but it’s so much fun)! If you’d like more content like this, check out My Life in Books 2022, and My Life in Books 2023 posts as well as Liis’ choices for 2024.
So here is the My Life in Books 2024 edition!
Using only books you have read this year (2024), answer these prompts. Try not to repeat a book title.
Reviews are linked where available. Note: these aren’t necessarily my favorite books of 2024, there will be a whole separate list of those in January. I also used titles I DNFd, because some titles just worked way too well #sorrynotsorry. However, I did not use titles that were rereads or unpublished beta reads. I might use them in the year they get published.

Aaaand that’s the my life in books 2024 tag done. I know I always say this, but boy, this was HARD. Some prompts were easy, some I had multipe really good options for and picking among them gave me some nightmares. Funny how I only remember that this tag is so much fun, and forget the pain of decisions making – and I have a track record of not being very good at that.
And that’s our last post for 2024. I hope you had a great holiday time with plenty of rest and recharing batteries, and will have a great 2025. We wish you all a Happy New Year filled with amazing books! And fear not, QBA will be back in full force soon enough.
