Book Tag: My Life in Books 2025

It’s time for my favorite post of the year! My Life in Books is back for the fourth year, and Liis (Cover to Cover) and I tweaked the prompts a little bit once again (look, I can’t help myself, okay?).

https://liisthinks.blog/2025/12/31/my-life-in-books-2025/We don’t quite know who created this tag, so I don’t know who to credit, but whoever it was, thank you (and sorry we keep messing with it, but it’s so much fun)! If you’d like more content like this, check out My Life in Books 2022, My Life in Books 2023, and My Life in Books 2024 posts, as well as Liis’ choices for 2025.

So here is the My Life in Books 2025 edition!

Using only books you have read this year (2025), answer these prompts. Try not to repeat a book title.

Reviews are linked where available. Note: these aren’t necessarily my favorite books of 2025, there will be a whole separate list of those in January. Please remember that these are for vibes only, which means that my picks are purely for fun, and not a reflection on the book themselves. My only rule was that I did not use titles that were rereads or unpublished beta reads.

Aaaand that’s my life in books 2025 tag done. I know I usually say how HARD it is to narrow some of the prompts down to one, but I had a breeze this year. Am I growing up, and are decisions easier as a result? Did I unlock this level at last? I doubt it, it’s maybe that I only had a handful of really good options, and I mostly managed to pick all of the good ones for different things. Sure, some decisions were easier than most, but at least I avoided having nightmares, yay!

And that’s our last post for 2025. I hope you had a great holiday time with plenty of rest and recharging batteries, and will have a great 2026. We wish you all a Happy New Year filled with amazing books! And fear not, QBA will be back in the new year, too.
