If there is such a thing as a perfect album, Nothing More‘s 2017 one, The Stories We Tell Ourselves was pretty close to it. I’m still in love with that one. I haven’t connected with their newer stuff, but maybe I just need to try a bit harder. Freefall was released in 2024 on their latest album, Carnal, which now apparently has a deluxe edition. And this is how Chris Daughtry comes into the picture, because they made a new Freefall record with him on vocal, and honestly, pretty much almost anything is 100% better with him on it. I love this guy’s voice.
