Adamski REALLY tried to not be a one hit wonder. The album this comes from, Naughty, reached, uh, #186 in Australia and boasts a two-star rating on AllMusic. ‘Killer’ it was not, though, even though ‘Get Your Body’ features the exact same synths in different order, and Nina Hagen is obviously a legend. Truth? I prefer ‘Get Your Body’ to ‘Killer’ and not just because I’ve heard ‘Killer’ a billion times – that song exists in too many versions to count and none of them has ever really reached the full potential, production-wise, except for George Michael’s Five Live take. ‘Get Your Body’ is just perfect both in its single (see above) and album incarnations – the latter featuring extra lyrics, ‘oh my GOD it is a UFO!!!’

Is it Dita von Teese in the video? I mean, probably not, since she was about two years old in 1992, nevertheless… maybe it was an inspiration. Weirder things happened. Such as Dita von Teese having an album out produced by Sebastien Tellier, about which more in the next instalment…
