Can you believe it’s already December? This year went by so fast, even if sometimes it seemed like time was dragging. It’s traditionally time to look back at the year, but I’ll keep most of that for the annual anniversary post in March. Here I’m only going to say that I basically met non of my goals set for myself. But then, 2020 brought on challenges none of us saw coming. We’ve been taking things easy in December to give us some breathing room, so we only had a couple of reviews and tour encore posts.
What’s to come? – December 2020
I honestly don’t have much plans for December. I think I’ll just try to relax and take everything easy. We’ll be taking a break from blogging so apart from encore posts and a handful of reviews, we won’t have much to offer. I guess all those packed months finally caught up with me and I need to take a step back. Plus, the holidays are coming and I intend to enjoy it rather than worry about posts.
Monthly Wrap Up: November 2020
November came and went and my second month living alone has passed. I spent November on different crafting projects and reading some truly awesome books. And giving the blog a bit of face lifting. What? I can’t stop fiddling with it, go away. But of course, we had some other posts other than reviews as well – cover reveals, an interview, book tours.
What’s to come? – November 2020
After the craziness of October, I’m hoping November will be all about catching up, relaxing and getting ready for Christmas. Also, now that SPFBO 6 Phase 1 is officially over, I can take a break and whatever I want for a while. So. Many. Good. Books. To. Read.
Monthly Wrap Up: October 2020
Aside the excitement of my moving, in October blog posts were written, SPFBO books were read, lists were made, tours were organized.
Holiday Book Swapping
Holiday Book Swapping is an event where people will exchange books. Everyone who wishes to take part will gift and receive one book in their chosen format. It will make sense later on. The goal is to bring a bit of festivity into the year that is 2020. I think we all need a bit of cheering up.
6 Sci-Fi Horror Books for Halloween
Though I have yet to delve deeper into the genre, I’ve had some pretty amazing reads in my life that bring together the inventiveness of SF with the terrifying experience of Horror. With Halloween still so fresh and Sci-Fi Month just around the corner, time to wrench out some Sci-Fi Horror recs for your consideration.
9 Creepy Reads for the Spooky Season
October is traditionally the time of the creepy reads what with Halloween around the corner. So, the Ladies of the Asylum teamed up to give you some recommendations of creepy reads for the spooky season. If you are still in need of a few.
What’s to come? – October 2020
As I mentioned before (and really, I’ve been all over about it on social media), the first few days of October will be all about the moving and settling in. It’s an interesting new episode in my life so I’m equally excited and terrified. Good times ahead. We’ll also have some exciting SPFBO times ahead of us as well as tours, cover reveals and other posts.
Monthly Wrap Up: September 2020
September turned out to be a way busier month than I expected, and that’s saying something. With a twist of fate even I didn’t see coming, I ended up renting a flat. Official moving in day is October 1st. Things happened within 2 weeks basically. What started out as a casual looking around for flats resulted in my actually renting one. The funny thing is, I only really looked at 2 before jumping on the second one. I did not expect to move anytime before February, really. Oh well.
