Monthly Wrap Up

Monthly Wrap Up: April 2019

Whoa, April went by fast, I guess all of that stressing made time fly by or something, lol. It wasn’t a boring month that’s for sure, and I had a lot of supposed-to-be-relaxing time too. On the other hand I’ve got an awesome signed copy of Priest of Bones so I really can’t complain.

Priest of Bones by Peter McLean

Priest of Bones by Peter McLean

Priest of Bones deserves all the hype it got. If you ever wondered what would happen if you mixed a priest and the Godfather, then you can finally get your answer. Priest of Bones is an unputdownable character driven fantasy about organised crime, magic, political intrigue and a world left by the gods. I already can’t wait for the sequel, Priest of Lies to learn what happens to these lovely rogues called Pious Men next.

Interview

SPFBO Interview with Craig Schaefer

One of the goals of SPFBO is to give a chance to self-published authors to get more exposure. In the Finals I’m taking part in the competition as one of the judges in Fantasy Book Review’s team. As I did with our group’s authors, I decided to offer a spot to the Finalists too to be featured on my blog.

The Questioning Blogger Edition

The Questioning: Holly (The Grimdragon)

The Questioning is where everything gets upside down. Every month I invite one author and one blogger, who showed me great support during my blogging life. Then I push them waaaaay out of their comfort zones. Authors has become interrogators and Bloggers get interrogated. Rest assured, no one gets hurt (much) and everyone has fun (eventually). You can find every related post on The Questioning page!

Ghosts of Gotham is fast paced, magical and one that is hard to put down. I don’t think I’m far from the truth if I say that this was only the beginning of a series that would rival his Daniel Faust one. I urge you to give it a chance if you like: Greek mythological figures in a modern setting, protagonists with mysterious and dark past, magic, characters you can enjoy hating and wondering about (Regina), and a mystery which means leaving bodies all over the place. In short: it has everything you might wish for!
