Like last year, we once again decided to post 3 separate top 10 reads of 2021 lists instead of one mega-list or one with only a couple of picks each. Which, let’s face it, would be downright cruelty to ourselves. Our only rule was that any book on these lists has to be read during 2021, regardless of when they were published and by whom. And we had to love them, obviously. Maybe. I mean, when you keep shouting at the author in private for things they did, it’s surely a sign of love, right? Even if you call said author names… *ahem* Anyway. First to go is Timy with her Top 10 Reads of 2021!
The Last God by Michael McClung
Timy reviews The Last God by Michael McClung, a novella consisting of three novelettes. It fits into the Amra Thetys series by McClung but it’s not necessary to read it to enjoy this book.
What’s to come? – March 2021
March is apparently the month of new beginnings. We are going to celebrate two anniversaries this month: Storytellers On Tour will turn 1 year old, and the blog will turn 3 years old. Man, time flies. There will be some celebratory stuff coming your way this month for sure!
But we’ll have a lot of other content as well: reviews, features, SPFBO stuff, author spotlights, book tour encores.
Monthly Wrap Up: October 2020
Aside the excitement of my moving, in October blog posts were written, SPFBO books were read, lists were made, tours were organized.
The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble’s Braids by Michael McClung
The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble’s Braids will take you to a fun rollercoaster ride. McClung created a world brimming with magic, gods and highly entertaining characters you’d love to hang out with in real life. You really shouldn’t miss this series as I know it only gets better and better and OMG I can’t wait to follow these characters as they keep pulling on trouble’s braids.
What’s to come? – October 2020
As I mentioned before (and really, I’ve been all over about it on social media), the first few days of October will be all about the moving and settling in. It’s an interesting new episode in my life so I’m equally excited and terrified. Good times ahead. We’ll also have some exciting SPFBO times ahead of us as well as tours, cover reveals and other posts.
