Well, you guys can’t say I don’t know how to kick a year off. In the first days of January, I dropped the news of changing the blog’s name to Queen’s Book Asylum. Then went on and launched my own music-themed reading challenge, The Sound of Madness (still not too late to join). It both feels like it’s been a long time ago and yesterday. Weird. Anyway, thankfully we had a lot of other content up on the blog your reading pleasures.
This past week we gave the spotlight to The Part About the Dragon Was (Mostly) True, the first book in Sean Gibson’ Comic Fantasy series, Heloise the Bard! Our Roadies brought a wide selection of content to this show with reviews, interviews and other posts. Now it’s time to bring the show to an end and it’s my pleasure to present you with the encore, including some extra content. After taking some time off (haha, as if, let’s not think about how many hours I spent with Photoshop among other things, shall we), we are back in full force. There will be quite a few reviews coming in January and we start getting SPFBO reviews out as well. And I’m planning to resurrect an old feature too. As well as launching my own reading challenge for 2021, but more about that tomorrow.
