Since we already have Music Monday courtesy to Drew at The Tattooed Book Geek, I hereby declare, that Music Diggin’ Friday is a thing from now on.
Hope You’re Happy by Modern Maps
I absolutely have no idea who these guys are. I just went through the list of bands who are releasing their albums today, checking them out if they are any interesting (it also a nice way to boost my playing list) and I liked this song which came up on Youtube titled Nightfall. So I’ll check out the whole album later, because they seem interesting.
Blues Won’t Leave Me Alone by RSO
I’m ashamed but I somehow totally missed the Richie Sambora – Orianthi duo album release earlier in May O.o So, apparently Radio Free America had been released on May 11th and this week we’ve got a lyric video to their single Blues Won’t Leave Me Alone. I found Orianthi’s music a few years back with her single Heaven in this Hell. I’ve been keeping an eye on her ever since. She’s been pretty quiet lately although she got together with Richie and they are working on music together ever since.
Backbone by Daughtry
Finally they are about to release a new album. I love Daughtry’s voice, and his music in general. It’s been a while since they came out with anything new, so yay! A studio video was released for the song Backbone giving us a glimpse how the recording went.
Actual Pain by Good Charlotte
The band from my teenage years are about to release a new album later this year, titled Generation RX. The first song Actual Pain was released with a video. The song is average at best IMO, there is something missing from it. Let’s hope the rest of the album will be better.
As the Silence Becomes Me by Tremonti
Seems like there is no week without some Tremonti. This time we’ve As the Silence Becomes Me from his upcoming album A Dying Machine out next week.
Uncomfortable by Halestorm
Besides Breaking Benjamin‘s album of course, this year I was looking forward to Halestorm‘s new record the most. The album will drop in July and we finally got the first single from it titled Uncomfortable. Sounds like the new album will be pretty sick. I’m totally stoked. And I’m going to see them live this October!
Have a rockin’ friday and weekend ya’ll! 🙂
