Since we already have Music Monday courtesy to Drew at The Tattooed Book Geek, I hereby declare, that Music Diggin’ Friday is a thing from now on.
Before I spoil your ears with awesome music, let’s take a moment and remember the late Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park. Today’s been a year since he left us, and although I didn’t follow the band as closely in the last few years, their Hybrid Theory and Meteora albums are still my favorites until this day. They were one of the early bands who got me hooked to rock and roll. One of my favorit songs from them is In The End, which has been my ringtone for a few years now.
Okay, let’s see what we have this week. We don’t have albums, but have some interesting songs.
New singles/videos
When The Curtain Falls by Greta Van Fleet
These guys are pretty young and their full debut album is due to be released soon. Their sound is pretty old school, a bit like Led Zeppelin. You want to keep your eyes on them. Until then, listen to their new song, When The Curtain Falls.
Ripping Me Apart by Nothing More
I’ve been raving about Nothing More quite a lot here, so I save it for now. Let’s just say, they released a lyrics video for Ripping Me Apart from their latest album.
Do Not Disturb by Halestorm
One week to go until Halestorm’s new album finally comes out! And they treat us with another new song titled Do Not Disturb. At first listen I don’t know what to make of it if I want to be honest. Oh well, I’m still looking forward to hear the whole album.
Keep Your Secret by Fish!
Okay, so this is an old song, about 8 years old, maybe older, but I just came home from their concert and maaan, I love them! They are my favorit Hungarian band and there is nothing like a good show to kick off your weekend.
Have a rockin’ friday and weekend ya’ll! 🙂

Books have been her refuge and best friends ever since she can remember along with music. She might be a tiny bit addicted to the latter. Timy is the owner and editor of Queen's Book Asylum. In her free time (hah!) she likes to create things, collect panda stuff, go to concerts, travel, and take the literary world one book at a time.
