This year I’m taking part in SPFBO as an advisor for Fantasy Book Review’s judging team. I decided to offer a spot to the authors in our group. The spotlight today shines on A.Z. Anthony.
Music Monday: Walk On Water by Thirty Seconds To Mars
I’m not such a huge fan of Thirty Seconds to Mars, but they happen to have some pretty good songs. For some reason, I’m quite obsessed with Walk on Water ever since I first heard it. It’s quite catchy. And it catched my eyes when I scrolled through my mp3 player. As I said, catchy. Now I shut up before I make worse jokes.
The Gifts of the Fairy by 9 year old Timy
And once again I’m here to give some something unusual. I’ve been chatting with a friend and I mentioned to him that I was about 9 when I first wrote down a story. It wasn’t my first story ever, but it was the first written down. I was so proud when I finished it, that I went up to my mom and told her I’m going to be a writer. The original story was about the poor man and the fairy. Later when I learned about a competition I decided to use that and write it further. This story is…

Servant of Rage by A.Z. Anthony
Servant of Rage is a blood soaked, intriguing first book of a trilogy. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but Anthony clearly is a talented writer, who can pull out writing terror filled scenes as well as emotional ones. Servant of Rages manages to give in some punches and leaves enough questions open to make people come back and read what happens next. Overall, I would recommend to check it out if you didn’t do so yet.
What’s to come? – September sneak peek
I like September. The weather cools to a bearable degree, I can get out my leather jacket and boots. Yay! Also, we are getting closer to BristolCon, only 1,5 months away now! SPFBO continues, the semi-finalists are getting announced slowly and things are getting interesting. Also, my blog will be six months old! Can you believe that? So let’s see what I have in store for you this month!
Monthly Wrap Up: August 2018
With August gone, summer is practically over. September kicked the doors in with a lot of rain over here anyway. August was all kinds of awesome as blogging goes. My stats hit a new high with over 1.100 views. I’ve got to knew a lot of new people and overall I keep going strong. Hopefully it stays that way. August also brought a brand new design, a new logo and feature images. I also launched a facebook group besides my page where I hope I can interact with you guys more!
Music Monday: Watch Me Drown by Seether
Without going into details, let’s just say I had a shit weekend. I’m still trying to get my pieces together. I usually go for Breaking Benjamin when I’m in this state of mind, but this morning Watch Me Drown came up and it fit my mood perfectly, so I’ll roll with this. Besides, Seether is a close second to Breaking Benjamin, so either way, I’m in good “hands”.
Attention! Asylum Library Clearance!
My blog will be 6 months old in September and I wanted to thank you for being awesome. I teamed up with Benedict Patrick Ulff Lehmann and C.T. Phipps to host a #bookgiveaway! For more info read the post!
