Can you believe it’s already the end of 2019?! It definitely was a roller coaster of a year for me. It was also crazy busy, so I decided to take things easier in the second half of the month. Holidays are coming and I need a bit of a break, so posts won’t be as frequent as usually. But don’t worry, we won’t leave you alone for too long 😉
What’s to come? – November 2019
November is going to be a quiet (I mean boring) work month. I’ve nothing exciting planned, but I definitely will try to pay more attention to my own needs – meaning I’ve been so focused recently on working, reading, deadlines, pressure that I hardly left room for myself to relax. To just loose myself for a few hours in a game or do some colouring. So, that’s my personal goal for the month, but no worries, I won’t let you guys without some great content this month too!
Monthly Wrap Up: September 2019
Summer is finally over and we are about to have a temperature drop and I’m sooooo ready for not boiling finally.
August went away in a blink of an eye and I’m both sad and happy about it. I had some great times, but I also got damned behind on EVERYTHING. September will be about trying to catch up to myself.
What’s to come? – August 2019
August is here! I really can’t believe how much of the year went away already. Did some pushed the fast forward button? It can’t be August already! Feels like it was last week I decided to (throw money out of the window) go to the WorldCon and I’ll be heading there in less than two weeks! I’m pretty sure it must be some kind of wizardry.
Monthly Wrap Up: May 2019
May was an interesting whirlwind of a month. We had my cousin’s wedding, I made some life changing desicions, my blog got picked to be one of the judges for SPFBO5 and I got my hands on a lot of awesome ARCs and books. And I finally got caught up with everything!
Three Crows Magazine #3 by Alex Khlopenko
This issue has less short stories, but it contains more other content. Such as an article in memory of Gene Wolfe, an interview with Gareth L. Powell, a game review of Sekiro, bookreview of Uncanny Collateral, a movie review of Illang, an article about the legacy of Sheri S. Tepper and an analysis about the Gormenghast series.
What’s to come? – May 2019
Exciting and at the same time terrifying things are happening to me these days and I can’t wait to see where things lead me. May probably will be a slow reading month as a lot of things are going on, so bear with me. On the other hand, I’ll catch up with reviews, so yay!
Monthly Wrap Up: April 2019
Whoa, April went by fast, I guess all of that stressing made time fly by or something, lol. It wasn’t a boring month that’s for sure, and I had a lot of supposed-to-be-relaxing time too. On the other hand I’ve got an awesome signed copy of Priest of Bones so I really can’t complain.
Monthly Wrap Up: February 2019
My favorite month is over 🙁 Though, to be fair, I’m not really sad to sit it go, as this wasn’t the best of the months, and didn’t really have a happy birthday as I was supposed to do. Oh well, in retrospect, I’m slowly leaving behind the shitty days/weeks I had at the beginning of the year and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year. And let me tell you, I have some really awesome things coming up! But for the sake of this post, let’s take a look back for a bit, as I/we had a quite productive month – even if it started a bit slow.
Three Crows Magazine #2 by Alex Khlopenko
Three Crows Magazine had only started its journey, this only being the second issue, but I can already say it has a place in the market. It not only features critically acclaimed authors like Anna Smith Spark, but also gives a chance to upcoming, talented authors such as Gerard Mullen, Luke Frostick and T.A. Sola. All of their stories represent a different culture, giving us a glimpse into our beautiful, colorful world through the eyes of SFF.
