Without going into details, let’s just say I had a shit weekend. I’m still trying to get my pieces together. I usually go for Breaking Benjamin when I’m in this state of mind, but this morning Watch Me Drown came up and it fit my mood perfectly, so I’ll roll with this. Besides, Seether is a close second to Breaking Benjamin, so either way, I’m in good “hands”.

Music Monday: Born For Greatness by Papa Roach
I picked Born For Greatness, because it has a positive vibe and it goes pretty well with my post last week. No matter what, life goes on, you have to step up for yourself and let those who doubt you know that you were born for greatness.

Music Monday: Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams
To go with my vacation mood I picked a song to kick it off. Summer of 69 is an old favorite of mine. It’s kind of a bittersweet song, about a lost summer, full of life changing memories, love, hope for the future. I guess we all have that kind of memories 🙂

Music Monday: Shatter Me by Lindsey Stirling feat Lzzy Hale
So, Shatter Me. Back when it was released I instantly fell in love with it, and I still like to rock out to it when it comes up on my playlist. I can relate to this song soo much. Just read the lyrics, it says it all.
Music Monday: Like I Roll by Black Stone Cherry
I decided to pick Like I Roll, because this is one of my favs and because this one got me out of bed this morning. I even sang along. Thankfully no one heard. This song is about freedom, about doing whatever the hell you want and not letting others to put you down.
