Friday Kick Off featuring: Halestorm, Daughtry, Dee Snider, Fozzy, Rise Against
Music Monday: Iris by Goo Goo Dolls
Things song came up a lot in recent conversations with a friend. Our music taste is quite different although we ended up finding some bands/songs we both like. Yay! I’m sure we’ll have more in common once I can make him listen to all of my favorites, hah. Nevertheless, this is the first song we both know and love from before, so it’s kind of special 🙂
Music Diggin’ Friday: July 20th
Friday Kick Off! Featuring: Heart Tide, Halestorm, Nothing More, Greta Van Fleet, Linkin Park, Fish!
Music Monday: In Chains by Shaman’s Harvest
Their new album, Red Hands Black Deeds didn’t catch me at first, but I’ve been listening to it at least a dozen times since then. And while I could choose a song from that one (okay, not really, they are all awesome), I decided to share In Chains, my first big love from Shaman’s Harvest.
Music Diggin’ Friday: July 13th
Friday Kick Off! Featuring: The Protest, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, Thrice
Music Monday: Summer Is A Curse by The Faim
This is not your typical summer song though, but it’s definitely catchy. For me it’s about chances, about never giving up, about trying even though it might be fruitless. You can just never know what’s going to happen in a day, or a week, or a month. Your life might change out of the blue and you’ll be happy you held on.
Music Monday: PCH by Theory of a Deadman
But why I choose PCH is because it reminds me of California, of the nights when I stay awake just because I can, the nights I spent chatting with important people in my life. Taking a walk in the night watching the lights of the city. I always loved being awake at night, and wished I lived by water so I could just sit on a balcony watching the water and the stars, listening to music, writing, reading by a faint light, having a nice chat. Makes me wish to go on a vacation right now. Who’s with me?

Interview with Barry Kerch from Shinedown
“I truly enjoy what I love, we all do. We love to do this, we love to play for the fans, we love to create music. It’s what we do. And we still belong, we still like each other, we still ride the same bus together, we still get to dinner together. It’s a family. And I enjoy playing on stage with those guys, we have a really good time doing it. I think if it wasn’t fun anymore, we would have to stop, but it’s still fun.”
Music Monday: Go To War by Nothing More
Today’s Chosen One is Go To War by Nothing More because I’m going to see them tonight for the first time! Along with Stone Sour (second time). Yay!
